A whole new world
It began with absence and desire.
It began with blood and fear.
It began with a discovery of witches.
And it ends with a whole new world. (No, Aladdin is not involved).
In a world of fear and hatred the Bishop - Clairmont scion fights hard to protect what's most important: Love & Family. The Book of Life aka Elias Ashmole's manuscript reminded everyone that every war and bloodshed begins with fear for the unknown. For hundreds of years prejudice and propaganda rules with the Congretion's help in order to keep the four humanoids apart. The idea of pure lineages seems stronger than the possibility of survival and it's time to pay the price. Unless they're willing to accept the truth: We are all the same and tiny differences shouldn't be a reason to keep us devided.
All Souls was a trilogy of magic, science, love and big life lessons. I cherished every heartache, the agony and the joyous tears throughout the long journey. Even if one had a hard time liking the series, they should aknowledge the author's effort to remind us that narrowminded and self - centered people cause bloody conflicts. Whether they're called Hitler, Benjamin or Peter Knox their hatred and fear forced their worlds to take a lot of steps back and never trully recover.
I will miss Diana and Matthew (& untammed Cora) and I hope that their family will keep growing with lots of alchemical unions.
