If that's not enough for you to read this, it's a heartbreaking WWII story, so beautiful and yet so sad (cried for the last 50 - 100 pages). It's about the power of words and over all it has beautiful characters, writing and message. MUST READ!

"Your hair is winter fire, January embers My heart burns there too." Suspenseful, with some truly scary scenes. Makes you really feel the kids' fears. The ending was kinda meh though.

Frankenstein

"Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful." Such a beautiful story. I loved the writing style, so touching and poetic. It's heartbreakingly sad. Kinda makes you hope for all characters to find some kind of peace at the end.

Vathek

Interesting but very bizarre story. It is one of the first books of Gothic literature, but rich in Orientalism and deviltry. There are also aspects of Shakespeare and Faust.

Για εμένα πιο πολύ πλησιάζει στο μελόδραμα, αλλά είναι ένα βιβλίο που θεωρείται η αρχή της γοτθικής λογοτεχνίας και από ιστορικής απόψης είναι πολύ ενδιαφέρον. Συν του ότι έχει γιγάντια κράνη που πέφτουν από το πουθενά πάνω στα κεφάλια ανυποψίαστων (which is always fun).

Jane Eyre

Μάλλον unpopular opinion, αλλά ενώ μου άρεσε και η Jane σαν χαρακτήρας και ένα κομμάτι από τη συνολική ιστορία, σαν ρομαντικό μυθιστόρημα μου έμεινε εντελώς αδιάφορο.
