Very lighthearted, with witty jokes and romance. The way of writing by the author is incredibly easy to follow which allows for some fast paced dialogues. Great plot although mostly worth it for the playfulness of it. Perfect for summer.
A very atmospheric world with the most interesting magical system and a mysterious evil figure. However, the best part about it seems to be the characters, who by the end of the book, every single one of them have grown, from outsiders to protagonists.
Very confusing at 1st but i believe that's the part where the book is most fascinating. Descriptions of majestic rooms with statues and all that without a reason for being. Piranesi, the protagonist, only knows what is and not Why everything is. Truly a fantastic mystery.
The book tells of stories of witches and magical creatures which is very fascinating and overall sets the mood of a very snowy and fairytale-y landscape but overall quite slow paced.
Absolutely captivating with a number of unexpected plot twists. Nothing too intense but the world is absolutely immersing and the characters as cold and distant as they may seem, they provide the reader with a chill down their spine. Perfect for a rainy night.
