This book. THIS BOOK!
Ok, brief recap of my thoughts while reading this novel: 20%: Ok, this is good, I like the writing! 40%: Is this going to be adorable or what?!? 60%: This is the new HATING GAME, I found it, yes, yes, YES! 80%: Wow, this is the new Hating Game, but it packs a PUNCH! 100%: This is the new, one and only BOOK LOVERS. Sign me up for all Emily Henry books immediately! I mean, who here does not know of Beach Read? You could not escape the fricking book! I never made the connection that this was the author of A Million Junes, which I was planning on picking up at some point anyway, until it was pointed out in a review. But seeing the approval of NetGalley in my inbox was the gift the book gods (quoting the protagonist here) knew I needed! Where do I start? The dialogue? The chemistry? The fact that this is about book lovers (spoiler's in the title, and we bookfolk appreciate that sort of thing). I think what mostly drew me in was the fact that it had so many relatable moments. Not a relatable character per se. But when Nora or Charlie or Clint or pretty much every other character said something, I was like "Yes!" "My exact thoughts!" "Oh I've been there!" "I've done that!" and other over- exclamatory half- sentences leading to over-the-top reactions that I should not bore you with. My second 5- star of the year, and I left another five half-read books aside for this and finished it in basically 24 hours, so you get the picture. Off to buy more Emily Henry books, do yourself a favour and pick this up if you like reading about romance, family, aspirational women and relationships going great and not-so-great.

Είχα ακούσει τα καλύτερα λόγια για αυτό το βιβλίο και περίμενα να το λατρεψω κι εγώ εξίσου, αλλά ενώ μου άρεσε και ήταν μια ευχάριστη ανάγνωση θεωρώ ότι τα προηγούμενα βιβλία της ήταν καλύτερα

ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου ρομαντικά βιβλία. λατρεύω τον τρόπο γραφής της Emily Henry! ένα βιβλίο γεμάτο χιούμορ, περιπέτειες και καλοκαιρινή αύρα! το διάβασα μέσα σε μια βδομάδα δίπλα στην θάλασσα και ένιωθα ότι είμαι η πρωταγωνίστρια. αξίζει και με το παραπάνω!!!
