The Long Halloween is one of the best bats comics out there. Script and story are solid but art steals the show. Tim Sale manages to incorporate 3-4 different styles (from Miller's scetchy and harsh Sin City B/W to playful color brushes that completely go against the noir vibe of the story) and produces something truly exceptional. Personally, even surpasing the "Dark Knight" and ofc, all other bats comics in art. It's an insta-favorite, surely will re-read. The best choice I could make for Batman day '19
