I was going to say that it is just another thriller with the hero policeman solving the case during the last day of his serving at the police ( how typical is that?!). However, there are two things worth mentioning. First of all, this book was written fifteen years ago and it is incredible how the author describes the social distancing thing, the masks, the lockdown we find ourselves into, now.. He had conducted a very thorough survey before writing the book for sure. Secondly, the ending. For once, something different! No spoilers here! It is a classic police story with the inspector trying to find out the murderer of a child, but in the end, it differs. Nice!
