Amazing read!
This book is as good as the first, if not better! We get to know our characters a lot better which makes it a very emotional read! The action, as expected, was perfect!

No mourners, no funerals.
I have read this book 4 times now. Each time before I open the book I think this is it. This time I will find it lacking because I have painted a rosy picture of it in my mind. And each time I couldn't be more wrong. The writing in this book is truly beautiful. The thought that has been put into the characters and the intricacies of the plot is phenomenal. The characters each have incredibly in depth backgrounds and motives that make their decisions feel valid and believable. The banter amongst the crows showcases each of their personalities so vividly. This is where I go into spoiler territory. There will not be a time when Matthias' death won't have me sobbing. His character development is my favourite out of all of them. Helnik deserved better. Just as simple as that. I will not go into further detail about Kanej or Wesper or the dynamics of all the Crows because this is already too long. The writing, the plot and the characters come together beautifully to comprise one of my favourite books of all time.

The second book in the Six of Crows duology was as good as the first one. Full of action, with the same incredible characters and another impossible heist/mission again. In this book we learn more about our characters' past and we get to see some of the Shadow and Bone characters as well. In Crooked Kingdom it took me a little longer to get into the story but when I did I was hooked. There are twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. I liked that the ending was bittersweet and I loved Kaz and Inej's scene. Highly recommend it if you haven't read it already.

i would die for these characters
δεν έβαλα 10 αστέρια γιατί μου πήρε λίιιγο καιρό μέχρι να το τελειώσω, και η ιστορία δεν με κράτησε τόσο όσο στο πρώτο της σειράς αλλά και πάλι αυτά τα βιβλία δεν αξίζουν τίποτα λιγότερο. οι χαρακτήρες που αγαπήσαμε από το πρώτο βιβλίο εδώ εξελίσσονται ακόμα περισσότερο, δένονται μεταξύ τους και αλληλεπιδρούν με συγκλονιστικό τρόπο. μπορούσαν να με κάνουν να γελάω ασταμάτητα και στην επόμενη σελίδα να δακρύζω. μου είναι δύσκολο να τους αποχωριστώ ξέροντας ότι (για πολλά χρόνια τουλάχιστον) η σειρά θα είναι duology, και τρίτο βιβλίο ακόμα δεν είναι προγραμματισμένο, αλλά στην τελική είμαι οκ με αυτό, γιατί δεν θα ήθελα να συμβεί κανένα άλλο κακό σε αυτή την οικογένεια, γιατί οικογένεια είναι. μου αρκεί να ξέρω πως ο καθένας πήρε το δρόμο του και ποτέ δεν ξέχασε τους άλλους που άφησε πίσω. edit due to last month's reread: είχα βάλει 9/10 αστέρια και ειλικρινά το μετάνιωσα. δεν αξίζει τίποτα λιγότερο από 10/10 αυτό το βιβλίο. αυτοί οι χαρακτήρες!! αν έπρεπε να διαβάσω δύο μόνο βιβλία για την υπόλοιπη ζωή μου αδιαμφισβήτητα θα διάλεγα αυτό το duology.

It just keeps getting better
This isn't a review. This is me screaming and fangirling super hard over how much I adored this book!!!!!! Ok, so, Six of Crows was great, but Crooked Kingdom was OMG, SO SO SO GOOD! It's a new all time favorite for me, it managed to earn a very special place in my heart and I love this story and these characters so much! Very heartwarming things happened, a super sad thing happened but it was incredibly beautiful! The plot was so smart and the dynamics in the relationships between the characters were everything. IT'S JUST SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY AND THESE CHARACTERS ARE MY BABIES AND OMG I CAN'T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS, I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

Must Read
Μπορώ απλά να πω ότι μου αρεσαν τα παντα. Ειλικρινά δεν μπορώ να βρω καλυτερο τέλος για τη σειρά. Αν και θα ήθελα κάποια μικρό πραγματάκια διαφορετικά καταλαβαίνω ότι δεν μπορουν όλοι να έχουν χαρουμενο τέλος.
